MARISA BLANES

ALCOY (ALICANTE), 1961

She studied at the Higher Conservatory of Music of Valencia (CSMV), Robert Schumann Institut of Düsseldorf with a grant from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation and Chamber Music with the Amadeus Quartet at the Higher School of Music in Cologne, obtaining Summa cum laude in virtuosity She holds a PhD in Music from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Polytechnic University of Valencia and an Extraordinary Prize for Doctoral Thesis Research granted by the Institute of Alicante Studies Juan Gil-Albert. It also has a good number of recordings. She currently combines her concert career with teaching as a Professor of piano at the CMSV.

 

ENRIC BENAVENT

QUATRETONDA (VALÈNCIA), 1953

He has participated in about 20 films, other television productions and more than 50 theatrical productions. He has also done radio. As a writer he has published 4 novels, 3 theatrical texts and a hundred articles in the press. He has developed his profession mostly in Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia. But he has also worked several times in Europe and America.

 

JAUME POLICARPO

ALBAIDA (VALÈNCIA), 1962

He is a founding member of the company Bambalina Teatre Practicable, in which he has completed 35 years of professional dedication to the performing arts. Much of his career is linked to this theater group of which he is artistic director since 1990. He has collaborated with professionals such as Carles Alfaro, Ramon Moreno, Jorge Picó, Gemma Miralles, Joan Cervero, Ricardo Belda, Albert Sanz, Victor Manuel, Jordi Bernácer , Pep Cortés, Mamen García, Adriana Ozores, Patricia Pardo, Xavi Puchades, etc. He has been a contributor to Hamlet magazine in its first period (Arola editores). He has directed and scripted galas for literary prizes, the Valencian Association of Theatrical Companies, the Association of Valencian Actors and the Picassent Film Festival. In addition to his work as a puppeteer, stage director and playwright he has also developed other creative facets related to the performing arts: design and creation of sets and costumes, construction of puppets, posters, dramaturgies for dance, etc. Some of his texts have been published in different editorials. He develops his pedagogical work in professional schools of dramatic art and specific courses on puppet theater and objects. He has won several awards throughout his long career.
